Imagine downforce as a ton of bricks pushing down on the wing.

With that type of mounting it won\'t be long before those bolts fail.

If you were to whip off the bodyshell from the Nismo car (or any competently built racing car) you would find the rear wing is NOT attached in the same manner.

Never doubted you guys at all ... but the amount of down force on that wing would depend on the angle so could be a ton but could be half that amount to, and by the amount of money that guys invested in that car its a good guess he has invested alot of time to make sure that wing works still butt ugly though

what an abysmal job. i\'m all for doing out of it custom stuff but that\'s just terrible. he could have at least cut the bit off over hanging the gaurd so that it follows the lines of the gaurd and can sit in properly, and reshaped the bit that meets the front grill, let alone doing something about the curve of v8 headlight area.

with an angle grinder and fiberglass i reckon i could make that look tidy. but why would you want to in the first place, i\'ve seen identical ones made specifically for gc8. plus it looks terrible. either scoop, or vents...not both!
