they are like 50c or less at any Upholsterer :P

Upholsterer?? Can't say I've ever considered sourcing some from an upholsterer.

I just buy 10+ of every style my car needs from partsouq at next to nothing and slowly burn through them as they get wrecked upon removal.

My buddy and I designed and 3D printed fog light covers for my WRX. 10% infill on the driver's side one, 30% on the passenger's side one.

There’s a whole thread on legacygt.com where people have made random 3D printed bits.

I imagine if you can get gauge holders sorted for the vents and centre cubby for the 4th gen Legacy’s you’ll make a few bucks for sure.
The only other guy I know of making them 3D printed style currently is pretty rough so if you could improve on that there is a heap of potential. He’s gone with a modular approach where you clip more pods on which doesn't look all that tidy

I had a friend 3D print an AFM pipe without the AFM in it for when I tuned the car on the Link ecu. Keeps the intake set up looking factory and means you don't have the AFM sitting in the intake doing nothing and looking messy.

the design stage is the tricky part to get my head around, even with 20+ years CNC / CAD experience, another dimension is doing my brain in, even though I know what I want to achieve TinkerCAD training is helping

You make me want a 3D printer even more, quite a few things I've wanted to print in the past, and just can't ever get myself to pull the plug...

I’m trying not to buy one as well.
now they have carbon fibre and glass thread filament it’s tempting.

also there are some slicer programs that can make print not 2D layered but real 3D but it’s still very printer dependent and not user friendly.

wait until you find out things like 3D camera can be scanners to get rough models. Like Xbox connect etc for low cost.

hahaha wait till you find the uncensored group on FB or the naughties section on cub3d

Bout $5 an hour to cover costs eh, and these things are not fast

I'd estimate probably 15-20 hours in that aye depending on scale etc

thus not impossible but not cheap!

I might just do one of those one day for fun (and actually see)

I'm not an expert but depends how good your superglue is :P

mine is 300x300 (footprint) so not an issue (and 400 high build space)

Just had a request for this from @DRFVDR

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2801502

Cup holder for Subaru Brumby/Brat

Summary

I was sick of having to balance my morning coffee on the way to work in between my legs so I designed this. It fits in the rectangular slot next to the hand break it may be a little lose but some electrical tape used to shim it works well.

It fits two regular 375ml cans or anything that is a similar size.

It also makes a prety good arm rest when there isn't a cup in it.

I'd say a fair amout of time @ around $5 an hour would be worth more than the $25 you can get a pair for eh (Plus shipping) inless there's someone near you on here

could just get these https://www.crazysystems.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1550

or bug @matipo in Hamz (Car Stereo Shop

hecka they are even all of $3 if you wanna wait for these

I'm discovering yeah these machines are great, but can be a PITA to actually use etc)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
