Drove to new plymoth at 5am this morn to pick up flatmates new car...was a mint drive and no traffic on way down..

On 3,876km since last friday. Still not sick of driving. One of my EDFC motors shit the bed so i pulled it apart, swore at it, had a beer and put it back together. Still doesnt work but im not as frustrated anymore.

Swore at and very nearly kicked shit out of it when fouled a plug on starting.

installed new siamese 3 inch system from the turbos back, fitted pimp looking mine's underbody brace that no one will ever see. broke one of the mounts that go onto the intercooler cause didnt know how to take it out properly, swore a lot then got a new part sorted from clubsub within an hour of breaking it.

Fixed boost leakage issue (Y pipe came off thanks to 16psi and not enough tightness) drove car, still shocked at how much more grunty it feels

did a oil change on partners b4 to find it had a fram oil filter :\ not happy

Final score of 4,512km for the road trip. Didnt do anything major to the car tho. Just drove it a LOT.

Picked up the R's boot and spoiler from the painters...Going to get the car and bring it home tomorrow to start preparing for the motor

Well it was actually yesterday but I popped out a recently replaced camshaft seal. Time to let the mechanic find out why it's building so much pressure that it's popping out oil seals. :'(

dont pay a mechanic to do it man, just clean it well and pop it in with some loctite thread locker or bearing mount around it. i always used it and never had one fail on me.

Genuine seals or other brand?

The genuine ones just seem to stay in place much better than others.
