Yeah they dont get much of a work out. BUT if you look inside them youll see the plastic liner strip, just above that is the rusty bit that makes them seize. If you can clear that out youl have no worries for ages.

I just couldnt be bothered taking the seal out incase i ripped it otherwise id clean it up with the dremmel.

As it happens, when i put it back on i bumped the seal and tore it anyway so it needs a new seal now. da mmit.

i just cleaned the sliders and re-greased them, checked under the rebber seal for any crap and was ok, pushed the piston out 2 make sure was working then pushed back in sweet as, there ok now

It started off as just a normal wash on the sunday, but then as you do it blows out of proportion and I ended up giving it the full clay bar, cut polish and wax job. Paint looks sooooo shiney

Minor win - had first passengers in the back the other week, tyres scrubbed (just 215/40?/18s) - realised the back shocks were munted when following in another car last night, the way it bounces I thought of the average cut spring laurel

Point this out to wifey so jump on TM for some replacements, 1 set of adjustables on their way to be installed after WOF next week

Is the pod mounted? I can't remember if I saw one. The AFM's don't like vibration.

Is the pod mounted? I can't remember if I saw one. The AFM's don't like vibration.
