Trying to break my new engine in and doing as many ks as possible so i can open her up with new internals, turbo and computer.....Anyone fancy a long drive somewhere??lol

Got the steering hub adaptor for my new steering wheel, only to find that it doesn't fit properly! Out came the Dremmel tool, fabricated an adaptor plate out of the bottom of a plastic salad bowl. Voila!

haha yeh man when i was running my engine in i took her for a nice long drive,ddnt thrash her at all ;D

gave my standard plates into VTNZ today and replaced them with PPlate...YAY

just got back from a whirlwind tour, up the coast from chch, through kaikoura, up to blenheim, stayed a night, went to picton for a day trip GAAAAAY place, then over to nelson, and out to motueka where we camped a few nights by the beach, then full tanked the wrx this morning in motueka and drove the inland route all the way home down through murchison, lindis pass etc and it still has 1/4 tank of gas left!? the fingernail marks in amys seat tell me I wasnt driving like a nana either so very impressed with that, theres some really hilly and windy roads all the way down through that way

yeap, in all fairness though we do live at waikuku just before the motorway so not quite all the way back to chch though I doubt 15 mins extra would have made bugger all difference anyhow, and the car just has a 2 1/2 inch exhaust and thats it no other mods at all, runs 10psi on a td04 haha

thrashed it around puke got down to 1.20 with taking it easy in most corners

i went and handed in my plates too then got my p plate signed off,cost 25cents an yip need your license,then i came home slapped on the plates and put on some rims lol

yup jst walk into VTNZ with the standard plates and PPlates and fill the MR6A form. Show them your licence and give them 20 cents and they will take the standard plates away and register the PPlate to your car.
