Moved turbo timer and mounted boost guage properly, Was going to clean my AFM, pulled it all apart, found my AFM cleaner, and it was empty.

Yesterday:

-New windscreen and drivers side glass in - Got an awesome deal from Autoglas Steiger

-BG5 GT rear muffler on to replace the horrible cannon the car came with

-New keys made up for door locks

-Set of 4 Bridgestone RE050As on my New 17s, ready to go on the car on monday.

Had a pretty productive day, but I think Il give my wallet a rest for a few days.

Yea, was a little annoyed, was going to try brake cleaner, but thought it would not be ideal...

took the car back to audio guy, did my speech...told him to put old unit back but disconnect battery first and what do you know...no check engine light..then audio guy spots in the new unit a loose wire from connector so put that back in and plug it up and no check engine light!...so went and took it for a fang and no limp mode...yussssssss! so possibly happy endings now [unless another cell pops up or engine check light ] so heres hoping

Nice man, wanted 33z on my surf but couldnt be arsed with lift etc...Got 31' Buckshots and they are all good as well.

How does a wire to your "audio" cause a CEL to come up? ??? ???

well you will probably get to do a few 4-6m long welds on the sides of those jumbo combys haha, i will let you know how much abuse your work takes! they are actually bloody good wagons

so a 2" suspension lift AND a 2" body lift?

Im thinking of doing it to the bighorn and doing a little off roading! Not sure i want to compromise road handling that much though!

to tell the truth a lot of setups like that are done purely for looks, and the odd play in a mud hole, i have seen some bone stock apart from factory size mud grip tyres hiluxs etc in some pretty hairy situations and make it through

The lift and suspension were already done when I got it, it had some biscuits on when I got it which made it look silly so I figured might as well fill the guards up. Handling wise it is fine it has adjustable shocks firm is good on the road will find out how the soft goes this weekend ;D. I think with a bighorn you can get away with just a bodylift to fit 33" but not sure.

Have to agree, if it hadn't been raised already i dont think I would have worried but it will come in handy with having the extra ground clearance from the larger wheels at some point, as for purchases for the car picked up some tow hooks, couple of recovery straps and a couple of shovels for when it all turns to crap.
