The car is as capable as the driver.

FFS, I did Manfeild on brand new RE-11 front tyres and farked RE001 rears... the RE-11s are STILL on the car! ;) 14,000km have passed.

GET OUT THERE OR YOU'LL GET DRAGGED OUT THERE KICKING AND SCREAMING. Leave the semi-slicks and slicks to the pros, mmmkay.

(How does a teenager afford a Spec C, beautiful tyres and track time, and have the budget to afford renting slicks?! I can't even afford to track the HX -__________-)

Get a job in palmy...

set alarm for 7 am on sunday...

Have a lazy breakfast...

leave home at about 8.30 am...

Quiet drive to Manfeild...

Pay the man $45 dollars...

And give it heaps...

And more heaps...until you are worn out..

Or the car cries enough..

Then quiet drive home,hopefully with a very large grin from ear to ear.

Well thats what i will be doing on sunday.YEEEEHAAAA.

AND!!!! I had put them on backwards!! LOL..

wheels are 18x8 , tyres are 225/40/18 , and when i do a full turn or turn fairly quick it rubs ???

what do you guys think anout that for track ? ignor it , or.....?

You just CAN'T get away with complaining about tires being expensive, and how $65 is out of your budget for the track, and how you can't buy overalls for $30... and then go on ask about buying a whole f***ing cage.

f***! Here I am struggling to afford the bloody petrol bill - even I've managed more seat time than you.

If I gave you a print out of my bank account you'd probably bloody cry. After tonights 'pizza night' and half a tank fill up, I have approximately $2. so f*** you. f*** your car. stop asking f***ing questions.

EDIT: Sorry, not $2, 21cents. the other accounts are the flat accounts.

EDIT2: I just realised, my coin container in my car.. is worth more than my bank account. In fact the ruler, I'm holding in my hand is worth more than my bank account. I have more money stored in pens, than I do my bank account. after a wquick shuffle around on my desk, I found 40c... I have trippled my net operating revenue.

/rant

(I do have $300 sitting in an account but I'll be using that as a plane ticket/ferry ticket if I can't get a job down here over the summer. Also don't take this too seriously, just... honestly bro...)

I've been a student for 3 years, gonne be a student for another 2! Dont talk about debt to me lol! There are people here that have mortgages worth more than thrice what your car is worth... arrg. I'm sorry, quote my original ranting post and you'll see the disclaimer.

I'd say stop mucking around and do it. You haven't got much experience when it comes to track days, so your not really going to be pushing it so hard your going to ruin a set of tyres, especially a brand new set.

Track days *are* hard on a car, but for the price you're wanting to spend on "renting" some wheels, you could put towards replacing the things whos lives you have shortened.

If you were borderline on your tyres, then maybe, MAYBE you would have a point, but on new tyres you've still got months and MONTHS of use, and months of time to save up for another set. Maybe take that 300 and put it in some savings, the interest can go towards your new set.

If its gonna become a common thing, maybe look into getting a spare set of wheels and tyres cheap, but really for the amount the casual user will do you'll be fine :-\

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
