Okay, so lately i\'ve been toying with the idea of a V8 front end on my bh, similar to that BE5 that was on trademe, wont happen for a long while, but i was wondering what other than lights, 1/4 panel guards bumper and bonnet would need to be aqcuired? What fab work may need to be done?

Would be cool if pulled off right

Yeah, it will be a While, just trying to sort out logistics of it before hand, make the car look how I want it before I get it painted or anything. Always loved the V8 front ends. Not sure about rad mount as BH and gd have same heater hose setup so possibly same heater mounts, supports etc. Would look epic with one of those STi bumpers and C-west lips haha.

bug eye legacy . yeah or just crash it into a wall . later will have better resale

in a stock bg5a gt it holds gears too long and will bog instead of kicking the auto down(and un locking the converter) at highway speeds when towing

what tells the auto to unlock the converter ? tps ?

If you rebuilt a twin turbo Legacy to be 2.2 litre stroker and then just put everything back as per normal, turbo, ecu etc wouldnt you hit some pretty serious issues?

Friend of mine was considering a Legacy with a rebuild but now the guy reckons its been rebuilt as a 2.2l with no change to bolt ons, ecu or anything. My brain says that wouldn\'t work, am I wrong?

A member here was running a stock ecu with a BE/BH 2.5 single turbo conversion by memory. Was fine I think but cant for the life of me remember who. Some reason I think gotasuby knows who it was.

Yup exact same ecu. It was a 2L ecu running a 2.5L with bigger exhaust system and the odd other thing so that coiuld have factored into it.

When i was running factory ecu on my 2.5L, I think i saw down to 9.5:1 and was keen as to get the possumlink back in there which we tuned to no lower than 11.8:1.

It is your for sale thread so feel free to sell yours, was just letting chris know I had one incase yours wasn\'t actually for sale. I would say $150-200 is a fair price.

Also I never got the original case for mine so don\'t no what the code/part number is but I know it will run a 2.0L or 2.5L single turbo perfectly fine, and that it definitely is a v5 sti ecu.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
