I want one badly

I just wished I had started saving up since I 1st heard of the concept of Subaru and Toyota started thinking of doing something.

Would have had a good deposit.

But I didnt have such a good job 1st off, then I became a poor student.

Two guys have popped up who are going to buy two of the NZ Brzs. Supostly they are number 1 and 10 on the list I think?

We need to put up a Brz/86 areas for techical and Garage areas.

Ozzy is having the 86 released there on the 4th or 5th of June I think.

They may release them here at same time?

Went to the local Toyota today and saw the FT86. While they only had the top "GT-S" spec and the test drive model was an auto (the man test drive one will be another week or so but I'll be at work again) so didnt bother driving it.

The seats are pretty nice recaro wannabe's. But the rest of the interior has the cheap plastic feel of a Kia.

the Faux carbon fibre inserts are nice touch....if they were real carbon. you do sit really low inside car.

Rear seats are for show only. S6 RX7 have more room.

Having a look at the engine, you wont be able to retro fit a single turbo system. The Starter is on drivers side for a start, and very little room to have a twisted intake setup. Other side is filled up with heater/Aircon Pipes. So maybe a turbo in front of engine like the lastest turbo system.

The Gearbox looks very much like a normal 4wd WRX box. You can see where the castings for the front axles would have been. The center housing has alot of extra webbing. Wonder if you can use the rear housing to RWD

a normal WRX box or do a gear swap.

Crystal Pearl (white) looks the best colour. Black and the orange makes it look nasty and cheap. Wheels are ugly and need to offset more to filled the wheel guards.

So far a little disappointing

Ahhhh no its not, not sure where you got that figure from, even the top spec auto jdm brz is 1250kg, i think the basic toyota is 1210kg.

I was driving from linton to palmy doing 80 in my ra coz it was cold... Saw some bright as lights behind me, then this white BRZ passed me, badged toyota... AMAZING. Even better in real life ae. I tried to take photos but my shitty iphone sucks! So i flashed him and gave him the double thumbs up!
