got a 2000 b4 manual and will be racing a stb forester 97 I think and also a 94 gt, what is the best way to launch so I can chop them?

give your car to someone that REALLY doesnt like you, tell them to rape it like being stolen.

you might win.

stand by and watch you car and the other two shit their pants from said rape.

You *can* get them off the line but takes a bit of trial and error. Clutch slip will happen if you let it out too slowly and just burn it up

Assuming it\'s at the track... convert it to parallel for the night (can be done in the pits in 10 mins)

option A) floor it on first yellow and dump it on the last - normally means about a 5500-6500 launch with a bit of boost building up (never tried it with a TT though, would probably just bog and look stupid) but I\'ve always gotten 1.7 - 1.9 60ft times with doing this

option B) use factory fitted 8k launch control, dump on last yellow (prooooobably not a good plan in a suby but most enjoyable)

option C) try and load it up slightly on the handbrake, try and slip clutch / drop handbrake / floor it from about 6k ish

C is hard to get to grips with but is easiest on the car

If it\'s not at the track then get a clue

yeah I am taking it to race wars one night soon, but this is a bet between some work mates about whose car is fastest, I think the forester will beat me until 4500 - 5000 but after that I should beat him, as for the gt that should be easy to chop

With relatively untuned cars of similar power it will come down to who is the most ruthless on their car... if, like someone said earlier, you rape it like you stole it, you shouldn\'t have a problem... apart from that it will age your car pretty rapidly.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
