What have you done to your car today?

I drove it into chch yesterday went well but really needs tune to iron out a few issues, allready had a random person asking me if id sell it haha

tried to change the oil/filter on bighorn.

failed due to filter being on too fecking tight!

have to take it in as its a bitch of a place to get at without hoist and i cbf

i got some more turbosmart stuff, fpr800, ss type III bov, & a moroso alloy header tank,

pain in the ass it's holiday's just means they wont turn up til mid/end of next week, should be doing some more car stuff now & not shopping online

Fitted new battery & new terminals cleaned up connections

fitted boot carpet that had been shampooed and water blasted

went for a fang

If it is the same as a mu there is a panel in the drivers wheel well that u remove and it allows access to the filter

had an old fella (around 60-ish?) approach me at the servo and tell me what a "beautifull" car I have haha, and he knew cars and started yarning to me about how back in the day all the motoring magazines etc absolutely raved about the BC5 RS legacy when it first came out and he remembered reading a shoot out between the mitsi vr4, the bmw m3, the BC5 and a couple other cars he couldnt remember, and he said that the BC5 blew all the competition out of the water in its day for value, performance and features. Real interesting old fella, wouldnt mind finding that magazine article somehow

Yeah mate back in the days the legacy rs was the quickest 0-100km car you could buy for under 100k (bang for ya buck) speaking of bangs there were alot that went bang after possum did those donuts with owners trying to copy them on factory gear without the upgrades he had 8) HAHAHAHAHAHA

Unfortunately blew me type r up today at hampton!!!!!No4 piston ring gave up....Onwards and upwards time for upgrades!!!

Yeah i spend a fortune on keeping my cars track worthy as i do a lot however nothing can stop a ring from going....oh well 3 laps and dead,shame really but at least it didnt catch fire like a motor that was there.

Dont rev the car like that mate always change way before the limiter and subaru dont spend many many hours developing a car like the type r with 205kw do be spent driving around the town all day like a vitz.

Pulled the entire interior out, cleaned all the carpets, trims, center console, rewired stereo, fixed cigarette lighter, pained fire extinguisher bracket.

Put everything back, replaced all missing screws.

Ran battery flat while doing this because my niece thought it would be hilarious to turn my spotlights on
