you are right my firend, le Dizzy, and there's heaps of them like that lol, my dads mate has an ej22 carbed and dizzy'd in his brumby, though it's on lpg. but this is a halfway for getting my car going before sorting out the wiring to go 2.2 injected.(I'll be needing an ecu and 2.2 motor, and loom, n/a) or just save my pennies and get a programmable link to set it for the ej20 n/a & ej22 n/a aswell. may then bother trying to find dohc 2.2

2.2 dohc pretty hard to find . the 2l dohc heads can be used on the 2.2 block tho .

thats all they do for the 22b's. also what i did on my 2.2 block

if you need heads for your injected engine i have a set of 2.2 single cam in my garage that came off my running engine (was informed it was running anyways)

I'll probably find an old BG7 for cheap and rip it to guts and then put it into my BH5, because I can. and then the set up I have here, I'll be able to put int a leone, due to the carb and dizzy, and then have a 2L leone yay! lol.

fitted a sideband, loaded the "Cadberry" Rom onto my ecu, no more air flow meter. Jast did a bit of a tune but still needs more work. quite happy at the moment though.

Washed both the BH and Wrx and found the baffling is coming out due to the insides of the muffler having rusted away. Pushed it back as much as I could and made a hole for exhaust flow. Ripped out some of it. See how it goes but probably have to buy a new muffler. Might go back to the Dytech ones. Much higher quality.

Also found the paint on the Wrx aint as great as the old owner reckons it is. Might end up putting it back to white at the rate its cracking.

Do a modern pearl white like the new ones.

heat wrapped my up pipe, down pipe and headers, ran out with only 3 feet to go damn it.

Thank to ichiban got a enough to finish, used stainless wire tied over the wrap, then high temp silicone sprayed it to keep water out (special DEI stuff that bakes on once up to normal temps).......mmmmmmm baked!
