Fixed my rattly up-pipe heat shield which has been annoying me ever since I put on an aftermarket downpipe 2 years or so ago.

All it took was a couple of hose clamps.

Then took it for a wee thrash to make sure it sounded right

Changed front guard to a spare white one, took it for a hard drive to check it still goes like it should.

So satisfying, love how the first 4 gears just wind out like it\'s nothing

Took out my zero sports adjustable suspension, used some \'wurth rost off ice\' and viola! bloody rings that were stuck got loose easy

Also managed to make the most rookie fcknut mistake I\'ve done in quite some time, after 2 hours of abusing the gearbox back on, I go to "click" the clutch fork into place

I said I click it into place

Wait... HOLYMOTHEROF I put the release bearing on backwards

Words were said. Car is abandoned currently and I\'m having some quiet time.

oh man that sucks bro. Its just so frustrating after doing a heap of work and you find out a simple mistake made the whole thing go down the drain

reminds me of the time i had my s13 fitted with a new engine did all the little things to make it run mint.

Finally time to give it a drive for the first time!

out the driveway speed upto 50k\'s and OHP the car leans towards oneside as i see a wheel rolling off in front of me.

F*ck i forgot to tighten my wheel nuts.

Damo said my duct taping around my Zero Sports splitter looked a little rangi and that I could use some draft stopper to clean things up. So that\'s what I did!

I didn\'t do the cleanest of jobs, the sticky side was dried up. I\'ll reapply it another day.

Also my V7 STi intercooler arrived last week from Markypoo

Finally, I bought a Mines 2S ECU for $50.

Was going to wash the car, but it\'s raining and cold.

Ive always clipped release bearing in before bolting it up. Just need to remember to slip fork into it before gearbox goes on waaay easier that way.

Feel your pain its always easier to miss something simple with only one set of eyes.
