Thats quite the assortment!

I got one of those $20 obd2 bluetooth dongles, got the free torque app, and like ermagerrd so merch infermaaaation

No really its quite interesting seeing stuff do stuff

I has these 2 ( I paid for torque pro )

some interesting things i picked up

1kd hiace (2013) boost pressure spikes to 20psi, fuel rail pressure gets to about 20,000 psi

313 sprinter (2012) boost pressure spikes to 30 psi, fuel rail pressure gets to about 29,000 psi

I guess this is why common rail diesels can have problems with the high pressure pump

I had always been under the impression common rail ran that or more anyway?

So you\'re thinking with some better boost control there may be less trouble?

That spike will be that real hit of grunt they have, on less they\'d feel a bit flat

Have heard it can blow a hole in your finger, or at least puncture the skin

I\'ve heard a bloody nasty anecdote about it basically slicing a hole in someone\'s arm then filling a big pocket under the skin with diesel. So gross.

When you consider that a waterjet that can cut 6" steel only runs ~90,000psi... it\'s not something to play with.

Well, you can\'t really squash most fluids very much... so all you have to do is put a lot of force into it and push it through a small nozzle.

(excuse my conversion to imperial units here)

If I (roughly 200lb) jumped on a 3ft long lever I would generate 600lbf of force.

If that force was concentrated into a a 1mm x 1mm spot (.00155 square inches) - say, the end of a nail) the pressure would be close to 400000psi.

Which is basically how a hammer and nail works :)

i will see if i can take screen shots or something :) pretty impressive piece of kit really for the price of an OBD11 bluetooth connector and a $6.50 app :)

I really got it for OBD11 fault codes and resetting, but i use a lot more than I thought.

also have used it to compare GPS km/hr to ECU km/hr to speedo km/hr :)

Not today, but the other day I realised the source of my cars lacklustre performance; \'twas a case of coil clip not being there and one of the cylinders not firing consistently :/ fixed now: runs like a dream xD I no longer have a niggling in the back of my head as to why it wasn\'t going so well. Now to sell, and go to a GD wrx :)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
