it\'s not going anywhere for a while so it may as well look mongrel while it sits

Also put the soft centre into the nardi (factory one off my gf8) for a look, trying to get the interior looking period correct and tidy, thoughts?

Run a beb on Friday night when tuning as some of you know. not the tuners fault at all! Engine was previously showing signs of it earlier in the week, Was luck to make it home that night :D Spent yesterday and today building a long block out of junk i had lying around and hoping to get to dyno day but will depend if its tuned or not, Im hoping to have it in and running by Tuesday night as i still have remove swap acc and install

Just finish installing heads tonight! it now looks like a engine finally

Damn you work quick Hijacka!

I know you mention this new block has some Manly (or was it Mahle?) bit in it. What else is in there??

Be sweet to see it at Dyno day.

Nah not this one, I am building another one with that stuff but seeing im waiting on my heads to come back from hpe getting cnc\'d for 100mm bore it useless to me right now, This was actual a bit more bitchn because i had to hone the bores out and clean it all up etc where as the other one just need to be slapped together because all the machining and measuring has been done, This was a cdb i bought awhile ago for bugger all, very low kms so was lucky i can re use crank on standard bearings..

This engine has/ cdb, acl race bearings, phase2 rods, hf sti pistons, 11mm oil pump, genuine gaskets seals, reuse standard headstuds, Reuse old tensioners and waterpump that where 10,000 kms old(from another engine), V3 sti heads,

Not a big build by any means but will get it mobile again and help clean the garage floor at the same time ;)

Whats the number on your map sensor? I know some one with a 4 bar plug and play one they would cut you a deal on. People have had the stock sti ones run 24 something psi.

Map sensor is standard sti 2.5 bar unit. Looking at going for a 3 bar or 4 bar gm unit, short weeks at work atm so $$$ a bit tighter. Stock they will run 24 happily on a maf tune, but it maxes the map sensor and it doesnt extrapolate the fueling, just pegs at its max value.

Just went for a lunchtime cruise to see how the new boost gauge goes.

I like it. The peak functions cool, peaked at 17.8ish psi.

Im actually quite impressed with it.

The little touch pad is removable which is good. It\'s definetly growing on me

Used it to fill my house with the smell of two year old 98 Ultimate :(

Then cursed at Past Koom who didn\'t leave enough clues for Future Koom to figure out what he was thinking with the wiring and why the second fuel pump doesn\'t get a "turn on" signal?

So I pulled half the dash out. Thought I was getting close to finishing at the front end of the car!

Old koom didn\'t write enough down :D

He left a bunch of cryptic clues, note books, spreadsheets, tags on various wires, but none of it correlates and Present Koom is unsure of what chronicle order they should be used :\'(

Thinking that maybe, just maybe, I left it a little too long between starting the wiring and finishing it haha.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
