young teenagers doing skids on the streets

anything goes off road or out in the country.

how ever blocking highways an doing skids an drags seems alil excessive an unnecessary lol an they do it drunk O_o which aint cool

the only real problem I have with the skid group is they give us normal well behaved boy racers a bad image

another thing that fucks me off big time, is old people sit there an bitch an moan about how they need to ban them all from driving an yadi yadi yaaaaa, but 30-40 years ago they all did the same an drove drunk everywhere an got pulled over an cops would be like lol you better go straight home... double standards, just because your cars were less powerful 40years ago doesn't make it alright that you did it lol.

I know for a fact my dad was so drunk in his 20s he drove off road into a ditch an had to go back the next morning apologise to the farmer for breaking his fence an get him to pull him out with his tractor.but nowdays he sits there an complains about how bad they all are lol...

well, your on my top 5 d1ck heads list, so not sure i care.

*No personal threats please.*

and as for the skids...there is a time and a place...and as for going mental round a street corner in 4wd thats probably worse... fast cornering for the track and burnouts on the burnout pad or at the right place right time lol....

industrial areas on sundays have next to no traffick but if u get caught ur pretty much over...

a mates farm is good if there is a pad on it

drifiting a car round a corner is both a legitimate and fun method of cornering, and it requires skill if you are to do it faster than not drifiting. i.e. a drift around a tight hair pin is faster than just driving around it, but it does take a lot of practice.

I'm talking auto crossing and street sprints here, not pimple faces in rotas.

Like this Loren??

I'm only juuuust past being a teenager and the only times I've ever really lost traction have been on snow...

Can't see the appeal in wrecking your car doing burnouts and I'm well informed that AWDs don't drift. Besides the fact that understeer scares the living shizzzzzzzle out of me.

That said, I'm not at all averse to giving it some far-right jandal when the circumstances allow.

in my mind when some one says "burn outs" i instantly picture red neck bogans in v8's surrounded by yelling and screaming drop kicks wearing black singlets, gumboots and drinking some crap cheap beer.

but i am old...

Oi Gaz, leave me out of it. cheep beer has it's place. lol.

at the end of the day, right place right time

I haven't seen it before, but even hellies with 4 different colours? haha.

Topic is skids on streets, I know I got really f***ed off when our neighbours did bornouts in the driveway, because we shared the same driveway.

Those tires cost a arm and a leg, You would need that arm and leg to do the "bornouts" with them on :P

Drift on track = motorsport = awesome.

Is it real motorsport though? Winning at all other motorsport in defined by either first car over the line,

or fastest time... drifiting has a subjective element to it.

Lots of sports are subjective loren, even some Olympic sports, just because it has an element of human judgement doesn't make it any less of a sport. And since it uses a motor vehicle as the primary equipment, I'd definitely class it as motorsport.

I am not a fan of skidding/burnouts but I did drift years ago while I was outside of NZ. I do grip when I do fast corners with a RWD. I did that to annoy FWD cars on corners. When we owned a Subaru, the definition of "cornering speed' changed dramatically.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
