Seen here with manifold removed -

Job is fairly easy (in my opinion) you just need to undo one bolt (10mm head) on each sensor to remove

Skinny fingers help and a bit of patience

Firstly locate the sensors and the securing bolt

air box and washer bottle out are a must and intercooler too if you need extra space

Then its a simple swap over

I can do them in 30min ( for the pair of them ) but allow yourself an hour a side

how have you stopped the oil from entering the loom?

I need this checked/fixed + AVCS filter baskets pulled (if that's a good idea?) and probably just a general Ichi Ban check-over... I'll do it after I do an oil change, what sort of advance notice do you need and what's your rate? PM me if you like.

Hey there, usually need a weeks notice to make sure i have a pair of modified sensors ready to go in

Have just got a pair back from Napier, and they are in the process of being sorted now

"petrolheadJ" needs a pair fitted, but not thill the end of the month

before or after oil change is fine

a special 2 pak resin ( and no I wont tell, as I was the one who has done the research to find out how to fix them and what works and what doesnt )

The resin is used to seal the sensor completely

New orings installed and sensor is tested for correct resistance and insulation

to be honest I have only seen 1 H6 sensor fail - and from memory the sensor was very similar to the Leggy and rex

Have done many repairs to H4 AVCS sensors - dozens now

yay just found oil in my 16 pin plug up near boost solenoid, have to figure out how to remove the sensors and get them to you Rick. There wasnt much (I have seen about 10-15mls in a different car) mine had 2-3mls so I will consult with Auckland based members on removal and get in touch with you

check the drivers side head, does the cam cover have a large bulge at the top where the cam wheel is?

all good, have a pair of sensors here, rebuilt and tested ready to go

I can send them to you, and you send your ones back to me once you have done the change over

cool mate will be end of next week, I'll get in touch. What do I do about the wiring to the plug...there doesn't look enough to have pushed through to the ecu but I should still check I guess

sweet, have just sold the sensors, so now they will be approx a week away before I get a set back and get the ready to ship again

Bumping this shizzle up...

Pulled my intake manifold off tonight, passenger side sensor connector is full of oil, as is the big plug on the drivers side.

What\'s the latest on the fix for this?
