Do they have to be for a wagon?will gc8 seata fit?

Pretty sure they have to be wagon specific because GC8 don\'t have the back support.

V7 seats and up will fit won\'t they?

Do you have airbag seats? I wasn\'t sure whether the pre-facelift\'s had airbags, I can\'t see \'srs-airbag\' on my seats so thought maybe the early ones don\'t have airbags anyway, which means you avoid problems getting a airbag light and failing WOF because of it.

mine has airbags in the seats, i know that much, but i dont think that v7 will work i think that it has to be v11- but im going to try tonight putting the GC sti seats in for track day

Well I have figured out that that GC or gen 1-3 or v7 seats will not fit into 4th gen legacy, font of the rails are perfect but the rear of the rail on the tunnel is very different as well as well as the other one of the floor, but the height of wrx seats are perfect and are a good size.

Hi there was just wondering whether version 9 STI seats would bolt straight into my 2007 Legacy GT B4? the current ones are leather with airbag and heated, if they would fit would I have any airbag issues or CEL lights?

Cheers

Unsure on the fitment side of things. But as for the airbag, removing it will likely cause the airbag light to show on dash. To get around it you need to buy a resistor and install it on the open plug. You can buy kits to plug straight in or you can buy a resistor from jaycar for like 70c. I can't remember the specs of the resistor but google should be able to help.

Does anybody have experience with coupe seats? I've bought a coupe with no seats and want to know if sedan rears fit and what Model has a tilt mechanism to get to the rear seats?

I had v7 sti seats in my coupe. It had the lever on the back of the seat and one down the bottom on the back. On both sides. No idea what variant of the v7 sti it came from though

Anyone try the earlier seats in the v11 08+ or newer?

Doesn't fit. Rails are different. If you want to try and swap the seat rails over ( think pop rivets and security screws) you could get them to work, but you are removing the seat airbags which the wof and cert guys really won't like

Cheers for the answer.

Went through it with a few lvvta guys at a trade show last year and provided factory rails and a bunch of other things (seat load sensor so other airbags work etc) it is possible.

but if I have to buy full seats to get rails the price starts to go up too much. And factory seat rails (non recaro) are rarely level as they allow room for the adjustment makes them sit really high.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
