He say he got some receipts but the person who built it did it as a side job so no receipt for labour. And he has dyno papers which he is still to send me. Not sure if the engine builder is on here but his name is subi man on facebook, and name is Brian I think. anyone know him?

would be a sick looking cars if the homie chromies were scrapped. If you get serious i would book it in for a full pre-purchase check at you local tuning company. might set you back say 100-150 but they will check absolutely everything, with a non-biased look. I personally would be very careful buying a car with so many mods/power etc... its more the fact of proof of installation by a professional, not just the purchase of the parts.

Yeah i plan to get vtnz to check it out before purchase. I was thinking of getting compression test as well from subaru dealer there.

Yeah the wheels are alright lol might sell and get other wheels or use the ones on my car now.

fair call. IMO i wouldn't go to VTNZ... i would get someone with a trained eye on modified performance cars to look at it. I see your in Auckland so im sure someone like PBMS offers a pre-purchase service.

The cars in hastings so it would have to be somewhere over there. I called subaru and they recommended vtnz lol as it was more comprehensive.

I'm with loner on this... if you don't have enough experience with this sort of thing to make the call yourself (hahahahhaha VTNZ hahahahhahahahahah they will just be like oooooooh its very modified) then you're going to have a **** time owning it because every time something goes wrong you can't just jump on clubsub and ask about it because the car is essentially bespoke.

Seems like a nice car..

Brian (engine builder) has been on clubsub for a good number of years..

Components used are of high quality and recognised brands..

Same old same old,go for a good long drive in it before buying and make sure everything works properly..

Contact WRC and discuss their input re tuning problems etc..

Then decide if you want to own what could be a temperamental highly strung car that you could end up hating..

Or a good well built and balanced car that will put a smile on your dial every time you drive it and love it..

Price is about right for what it is..

Yeah he wants 10k actually without the service and retune. So its quite cheap. I will try contact the tuners and see if they have anything to say. All he has given me so far is a receipt for the link ecu. Waiting on other receipts and dyno papers.

He is going to meet me at rotorua if i do agree on purchase so thats a decent drive for the car.

Im 50/50 on purchase as no real proof yet and with the fact it may end up being a headache

So its making 300wkw and needs a retune? Interested to see the plot and know what the turbo is t3/t4 means squat. If it is a ta3410 or similar its probably laggy. Best bet keep what you have imo.

Well he reckons the retunes just for buyers peace of mind. I'll wait and see what proof he has and still waiting on the dyno results from him.

Hell, If all is good and the thing has any integrity, it is an awesome car. But... Weekend worrier or daily? wheels arnt even that bad, they are not chrome.... TM auction is down so cant look at pics again but looked like Rotiform NUE's, would look sick if the photos were taken on something better than a potato in some decent light.

Edit, quick Internet troll and yip Rotiforms, not my personal favorite but still not bad wheels.

If you rely on it and cant fix it though screw dailying it.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
