While at a friends, thread a bit of string through a mentos, hang it in the very top of the neck so it\'s held by the cap when screwed on and hidden, cut the exces string, when then ext person opens it they get a foamy shower of cokeness

Drove out to Bethells and back from Botany. Filled up immediately before and immediately after and returned a solid 8.04 L/100km Quite a stark improvement over the 12 I usually get around town.

Got replacement shocks in - spent too long swearing at how to get the front hub low enough to get strut bolted on, then had eureka moment of unbolting the swaybar - durrr easy job after that

Rears are easy as! Bolt in the top, jack under the shock, wind up the shock, bam bolt through and you\'re away

Its not idling right but at idle the BOV is pissing out air so I think the BOV is no good. Stock V7 BOV.

Block it till you can get a recirc hose, almost all factory valves leak at idle (they\'re meant to)

Good job getting the cooler on, problem im finding now is trying to find a shroud to fit it

I was lucky enough to get a shroud with it.

Recircing it is going to be a mission. Space is at a premium, AKA im out of it... I was hoping to use the stock valve as Atmo venting for now but your saying that\'s not possible?

Yeah they dont seal at idle. you could beef it up if you wanted... like pulling it apart, putting a heavier spring in? Pretty ghetto doing that though.

I just blocked mine off until i could sort the recirc out, the idle i could live with but it was a pig on light throttle. Blocked isnt perfect but its a stopgap measure i spose. And you get the mean flutter action if that floats your boat haha

Tune is booked 4th March as I have a couple issues to sort before then along with my BOV issue.

my v7 sti one is closed at idle, it does vent when im cruising at 100km/h.

swapped back to a GFB one on my new turbo, seems to work ok, Im sure its using less gas now as its not venting all the air at 100km/h cruise.

it could also just be in my head as I have adjusted my lean cruise on the link

I think I\'m gonna grab a cheapy Atmo venting one just to see if it fixes the issue then go from there.

So today i brought lots of hoses and alloy pipe, fabricated the intercooler pipeing to go under the headlights, rewired the manifold to suit front faceing, installed new brakes and the new rewired and compleatly fucked with manifold, looks good and should be going tomorrow, will post pics soon once i get my camera back
