removed engine & g/box from the gt then tapped an old thread in the starter motor, opened g/box replaced reverse cog which was supposed to be in there, found a bent selector fork......

what was one to do but remove the engine & g/box from the RS & fit the rs's built unused g/box into the gt refitted engine plumbed up all i could remember bleed radiator & drove it, Popped my first ever intercooler pipe off too wondered why i lost boost but it kept running hahaha (link ecu) completely stoked with it 8)

will be replacing the selector fork in my good g/box (lucky i have plenty of spares) & will swap box over at later stage :)

Seriously massive efforts these cuddas

yep it was, pretty average when you know what your upto, really miss having hoists though, crawling round under jacks & stands removing bolts & stuff lying on ya back isnt much fun, but once it all done its a good feeling :)

(not the next day when you feel all the bumps, aches & scrapes tho)

Haha +1 on that cuddas ::)

Actually just brought a hoist today and set it up, the old mans got a old holden v8 that went for a swim so we just pulled the engine/gearbox out, stripping it now and putting the water pump, distributor + gearbox onto another secondhand v8 engine. Need new engine mounts and a few other bits and pieces, gaskets etc but should be in and running by late tomorrow. the old man will be happy to have the v8 back on the road ::)

ecu reset, code 32 o2 sensor (intermitant)

ecu reset again, no codes, f**k me what a difference. less fuel usage, harder faster on boost, more solid bottom end, pulls MUCH harder. wee!!!! need a new 02 sensor.

done the same 2 mine, 5th full boost is sweet :D but i replaced the o2 so should be sweet, got a trip 2 wgtn this friday so wanted it 2 save abit of gas, will get some fuel usage figures from it 2

The only thing i noticed was fuel usage dropped on open road trips, power was the same (running on the dyno i've had the fault code come up after an ecu reset, no power change) i've had o2 sensor issues since i got my foz, fixed it once then its crapped out again, not worth getting a new o2 sensor for the amount of "extra" fuel i'd use. Last time i got a free o2 sensor ;)

After having my legacy for almost too years.. finally got around to fitting a pod filter.

Make sure its boxed with complete proper air supply from outside, dont want to be sucking the heat from the engine in. Factory can still perform well since its already boxed and has a good cold air supply.

Waiting for engine mounts to show up, replaced all seals incl. the mains.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
