Broke out my tub of car care products and spent seven hours straight just detailing.

Not sure if it was worth it, paint looks okayish now but I can't really do much in the way of proper paint correction with elbow grease. Might need to get some ultra-fine wet/dry sandpapers from work. Scratches under the handles got some love today, though:

Went to fit zerosports rear strut brace that I recently acquired and it didn't fit. I dunno what it will fit? Might try some mates cars to see if it fits theirs.

My track car finally landed in Auckland, getting it shipped to get it tuned shortly...then just some paint, chuck on a spoiler and bam done.

Well we broke Fastfours trailer , so what was a semi easy mission turned into a decent long day..Car is now finally at Reaction Racing to get all the last bits done and tune for the track.

Then it is onto the panel work, bonnet needs new clear coat, few dings from earthquakes to knock out and also have my genuine trust lip to paint and attach.

Unsure specifically, RDL performance who built my car recommended big time dropping it off to Mike at Reaction Racing and he will get it sussed. I know RDL performance fly those guys down to chch to do the tuning on their rally cars on a dyno down there so they have to be good..Not cheap but good.

Never heard of them. Probably means they tune real race cars for people who race them rather than talk about them.

Want to get it on the road and running, get some track time..then next year I will look at chucking on a garrett 3076 or something. But for now like you say, I am at that point of being over talking about it but never have the damn thing running.

WOF time again, one of the rear bulbs had finally crapped out completely, replaced that and took it in for yet another clean sheet wof.. 3 in a row now.

Filled up for the month. Also went around getting insurance quotes for a NC MX-5.

(BR9 averaged 6.2 L/100KM driving out to the last meet. Don't really commute in it, so a full tank literally lasts me a month.)
