If I take off my Calipers and Brake lines will the system dump all the brake fluid? Or is there some sort of valve that stops it dumping all the brake fluid.

Vice grip the brake line before u take it off the caliper

ECU question, I've looked around(and searched) but couldn't find it, I know due to gazzys TT-ST doco, he used an A8 ECU, I understand this was the ecu used in the auto v5's is there a change in the CR between the A7(manual) and A8(auto) ECU's? just a thought, didn't feel it warranted it's own thread.

Hey,need some advice to confirm or smash my assumptions.

So at the moment, when I start my car and start driving, the clutch pedal is nice and soft and the clutch basically engages as soon as I let go of the pedal. So to my knowledge that's called the clutch takes low.

When I drive around for a while pressing the pedal becomes a bit harder, almost like there's more force pushing the pedal back, and my clutch takes higher when I have the pedal almost fully released. Does this make sense or should I start drawing pictures :P

Will a clutch bleed fix this?

I would think the CR would be the same, the A8 might have a less aggressive tune since the autobox wouldn't as strong as a manual one.

and that is not the be all and end all as well if a tire is a "snow and Ice" type ( or can be determined to be one) then it has to have 4mm of tread, this is what the WOF inspector told me about my silverstone rally tyres fitted to the RX,but we shall see as he was perplexed over them :)

I've had a bit of a search but was unable to loctate anything but was wondering if one of those STi Keys would fit my BE legacy? I read a few things online saying they can only fit anything 01 or newer or something along those lines... I know it's cosmetic but want to get rid of my current key (with the lock/unlock) that is replaced by my alarm...

Cheers

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
