2 dumb questions...

1. What is the marked item? Im guessing something to with ABS?

And what is this to? Its bolted onto the stock airbox mount and apparently goes nowhere, it doesn't even appear to be blocked off.

First pic is the abs pump,has the valving and switching units

2nd pic is your vent from your carbon canister whch vents back into your chassi rails.

Cool thought I was on the correct line with ABS.

Is there a need to block off the Carbon canister vent?

And also if I run a piece of piping from the front bumper (say under the indicator) up into the engine bay should I be concerned about water getting into the Airbox I plan to create?

not sure about the airbox thing man.

but people remove them and some done depends if you wana smell fuel or not.

i chose to leave mine in there just for the sake of it

for the sake of answering the question though, your boost controller should go between the nipple on the compressor housing and the wastegate actuator. the hose you asked about, you could probably hook up a boost gauge there....

What really happens when you pull the handbrake in a All Wheel Drive?

i.e Ken Block videos, he uses the handbrake, but shouldn't that really mess up the center diff even with the clutch in?

if it is fitted with a DCCD or similiar then when handbrake applied the centre diff is disconnected I believe( or it goes fully front or some such)

As long as you have an operational centre diff (viscous or plate etc), the rear wheels will lock up (if you've got a decent handbrake) and the front wheels will rotate. The centre diff allows both ends to rotate at different speeds, in this case one ends speed is 0 rotations per second.

If your centre diff is welded solid (or you drive a Leone which only has a front and a rear diff) then when you pull on the hand brake, both rear wheels will lock and at least one of the front ones as the front diff will allow one wheel to rotate.

hehee except the Leones hand brake works on the front wheels but same applies

What is the above, and is it possible to (re)move it without a big hassle?

Seems to be going back into the Intake Manifold or fuel rails but I cant quite see where.

charcoal filter i've just removed mine it also goes back to your fuel breather.

Would be easier to make airbox if it was removed. Should I block off the hoses to it if I'm removing it?
