So the club turns 20 next year and being somewhat of a milestone we would like your thoughts on how best to celebrate it.

Fire away with your thoughts on what, how, when, giveaways, events, track day etc etc we would love your feedback.

I'll add options to poll as you throw them up.  Check whatever you will attend as it would be nice to throw a few ideas into a weekend or whatnot.

Also is it an anniversary or a birthday...?

Would there be much interest in a national tour of the tracks?

its just a random idea going though my head currently, but:

Day1 Meremere drags/autox

Day2 Taupo trackday

Day3 Manfield

Day4 Ruapuna

Day5 Highlands Park

Day6 Teretonga

dont know if they would all be track days, not sure many subarus in the could could Handel that sort of pounding. But it's a random idea that could include everyone in the club.

love to hear your thoughts.

Im kind of thinking along the lines of the following:

Day 1 Friday

Merermere dragstrip side by side timed potentially a grass/gymkhana alongside.

Day 2 Saturday

Trackday potentially Taupo but disregard location at present.

Day 3 Sunday

Mass meet/dynoday/BBQ/photo shoot at PBMS.

puke is a fantastic track, not too hard on the cars either. i know a few will be quite cautious about a day at hamptons due to corner 5

grass skids are fun too :P not toooo hard on cars, low speed, good fun for the whole family :P

Would also be interested in this, however my preference would be Pukekohe but Taupo is very doable too.

I'd be down for this....Puke would be my preferred location, like Kiwifozze said, this track is easier on the cars and a quite fun to drive

I like this, but its a lot of kms for some. Get to Auckland, not really a lot of accommodation near Meremere, haul to Taupo is a decent one from Auckland or even Hamilton and then back to PBMS next day.

As suggested above Puke might be a better choice for track, stay in South Auckland or even Pukekohe and cut out a few hundred KMs. Could even do a mystery cruise one night for those who wants to rack up the miles or may not be so keen on a Motorsport event?

Night cruise kind of freaks me out. It brings up FnF images in my head and wanna race g type stuff. If handled appropiately and authorities notified its a damn sound idea tho.

Puke is a bit of a C*** iirc ray knows more. Long way from wellies and SI was my thought.

We have done Night cruises in the past, has to be pretty strictly kept in check but it can be done. Mystery cruise with a set leader is the key in my experience.

Shame about Puke, I have done Motorsport in Auckland 2 out of 3 days with Taupo in the middle and it was a real slog. I guess I would hope if people are going to make the trek to Taupo for a single day 3 days in a closer environment wouldn't be too big of an ask.

But to be fair I would roll out for it either way ha ha.

if PBMS is part of it then i think the whole shebang should be in Auckland or there abouts.

Night photos from the North shore looking back at the lights of the Auckland skyline at night are always cool...

Puk can be done, but pricey.

Hamilton is the Home of ClubSUB & I intend to make sure we acknowledge that in some way to 'honour' the founding fathers so to speak (I am in contact with a couple of OG's via FB...
