Woahhh dodgy engine removal there my bro! We usually use a big strop around the intake manifold & pull it straight forward to get it off a the gearbox studs then straight up.

Put a jack underneath the gearbox to lift the engine & box off the subframe mounts & your away. Btw nice alternator bracket/bearing & belt set up... haha it looks like I forgot to show you it needs a bush machined up for that bolt that tensions the alternator..I think I have it here too bro so I will try find it & let you know

Also it looks like you need my modified power steering pump bracket because when all fitted it up it should leave lots of room around the throttlebody like below :)

YESS!!! i thought it needed a bushing lol no worries im not driving it atm so should be sweet till i get it off you :)

i might grab that power steering pump bracket off you too. its gonna be a tad tight with the flipped manifold with it the way it is :-/

I have X and K band turned off (K band off because by the time detector goes off for those low frequency speed camera it is to late anyway.)

So with just Ka and laser on I receive next to no false alerts so never need to mute.

Ka and laser are the only bands used by police in New Zealand, K band is used by all the "your speed is.." and by speed camera vans but IMO turning K band on for them is not worth all the flase alarms.

Also have ka guard enabled which stops the receiver falsing if the car around me has a cheap radar (cobra\'s are notorious for this)

Yeah I\'ve considered turning off K band. Does get annoying, but the GPS feature of my escort prevents me since I never get false alarms in my frequently visited locations :)

Good work with the hardwiring though, did you order a special cable, where did you wire it in. Do you have pics in further detail?

Cable is just a normal telephone cable for the v1, using the V1 hardwire kit I just needed to wire a positive and a negative wire which I wired up under the steering wheel and then ran up the A pillar and then using fingers you can push the cable under the front of the headlining.

edit: turns out your radar uses the same cable, this is quite expensive but is what you need.

Finally got car going again, thanks marc for solinoed! Fitted 2.5\' downpipe which i wrapt, large topmount intercooler, intake form hijacka (what a pain without removing manifold) GFB 50/50 bov new plugs and soldered on new injector fitting i broke ages ago, some new vacum lines as some of the old ones were looking a bit dodgy. All the boost surge and crap that was going on is now gone, i sort of knew that the ecu is more clever than just spitting the dummy over having an exhaust put on, what the cause was is anyones guess as i did it all at once, but man its so smooth now and pulls really cleanly ;D

finished off the fuel surge, filter and pump instal, just need the braided hose now, plus fitted the braided brake hoses i hvae had for the last 12 months, to the rear calipers. :)

cleaned ICV, hope i didn\'t break it, it wouldn\'t idle after cleaning it till i revved and restarted the car a few times. tried to reset ecu, keeps throwing a code 32... soo, guess it\'s time for a new o2 sensor. it\'s been doing it for the last 2 years on and off LOL

Solenoid hooked up wrong... mine did the same when I had the solenoid backwards after some midnight installation brain-fail.

Also no boost cut means your map sensor probably ain\'t seeing anything.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
