Legacy got glared at, Mazda got a sub wired into the factory stereo (didn\'t want to change head unit cause it has steering wheel buttons) - and had a crack at trying to get vf27 housing clocked to use as primary, rounded one bolt so thats now a job for a day with more patience

Better back to back untuned or you tweak it?

untuned and not tweaked at the moment. everything standard apart from the turbo

You import it?

Had SAS flush the trans fluid ( it came out black ) on the legacy and replaced the filter , while that was getting done gotasuby turned up with his laptop and tuning cable so he reset the trans ecu.

OMFG what a difference , soo much smoother and no more slip/banging into gears.

Cheers boys :D

very nice! was going to ask how it went when ya left

na i had it for a while but never had a chance to fit it until i started loosing boost from the vf38. pulled out the vf38 just to find out that the gasket between the up pipe and turbo was missing all together :o. i had the car since it arrived in the country and i never worked on that turbo. funny there was no indication of exhaust leak at all despite doing so many upper engine cleans on every service.

Depending on model & year of car and new stereo, ripco/supercr@p/et al have factory harness adaptors that will let you keep the steering wheel functions

Is that the turbo that come on the facelift versions?

Tightened up the strut top in a failed attempt to stop it knocking, needs new top bearings :(

Changed the gearbox oil so now it goes into second when you pull back on the gear lever ;D

Also looked at all the oil leaks and gave up all hope of ever having a non oily motor/gearbox in the wee Peugeot...

Attempted to resolve the CEL that keeps popping up by swapping the wiring harness off the old knock sensor onto the new knock sensor(when I say new I mean a few months old). Reset ecu and went for a drive. Looked hopeful but on the second pull over and stop then restart the car she starts flashing again. >:( looks like I\'ll be finding a new one.

My boss was kind enough to grab my headers for me while he was in christchurch on saturday, so I picked them up from work today.

Pictured with the wastegate

Got my stages today too, dropped the damaged one off for repair.

Where are the wastegates usually mounted?

I figure I\'ll need a banana dick pipe coming off the up pipe to bring the wastegate up beside the turbo then the pipe can go down alongside the downpipe?

Sweet, I always thought there was heaps of room but I tried holding the wastegate in different positions and I couldn\'t really find a nice place to put it

ive got a few pics I think. Will see if I can find them tomorrow

I put mine down behind the steering rack. Fitted nicely with enough room to get to it and it kept the pipework nice and short from the up-pipe.

exactly what i did and black wastegate all plumbed back looks good and cops arent the wiser

Replaced the swaybar with a whiteline 22mm thanks to evowrx for a mean deal.

Old one looked pretty beef so I put the new one on at the stiffest setting. And fark me gave it a little bit of gas out of a corner (not boosting) and I could feel the rear unsettling. Definitely need to give it a go down Twilight rd this weekend.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
