stop leak + subaru engine= very bad. makes problem worst imo

Did you read the bit about the new engine?

Some additives clog up the cooling system but its not going to matter in this case. Sometimes additives can work a treat other times they dont work at all. Had a mate with a old 89 legy n/a that blew a h/g was using water in a big way he just fed it a tube of liquid copper every few months kept it going raped daily for almost 2 years before selling it as a paddock car still going. I personally think fix the problem though.

Lol the stop leak is for the rocker cover gasket on the drivers side, it\'s a little bit weepy so the stop leak means it doesn\'t smoke after long trips.

Couldn\'t agree more with you mate, have heard the VF22\'s start to run out past 350whp or so? It\'s probably more for a bit of fun now and to give me a fairly decent turbo to start off with.

Will tend to things like injectors etc as I go through the build process, dreading this as brand new injectors = $$

Still deciding what to do management-wise, link will be the go but plug-in or wire-in?

No labour involved in install lol I\'m an auto electrician

Might have to get around to making a build thread one day

That\'s what the horrible composite gaskets often look like when the engine gets torn apart.

More referring to the gunky gel build up in the water jacket, not the gasket material that\'s flaking off. Doesn\'t look very delicious lol

one of my recent motor changes came with that. the motor had been standing for ages so when i opened it up to do tiing belt water pump and pulleys i notice the water pump and thermo stat was jammed because of that shit. please people get it fixed properly

fitted new set of seats all round and decapped a set of pink sti injectors will get them cleaned ans flow charted in the new year

If your really clever you can use a square of string around your car and measure the off the string to get toe set at zero

Managed to get code 66 again today on way home, didn\'t go into limp mode though, think second turbo is shagged

Over my small Xmas break I\'ve done a full tube fre on the front along with alot of other custom things

Drop the motor back in Tomorow

Played with launch control.... Made me also chucked on a twinscroll avcs timing and ignition map... Lost some down low pull, but holy f**k it hauls up top!!!!
