s**t i did my strut swap with the scissor jack that came with my car hahahahahaah

Removed tints of front side windows, had really dark ones that had been put over top of lighter ones, came of easy enough but the sticky residue has taken 1.5hrs for just one side!! Using meths is the trick ;D ;D

Installed rear firewall to block off boot from the cabin, and tiny new battery! Now need to set out a proper battery mount to pass scrutineering... Tomorrow new beatrush gearbox mounts go in with pbms rubber kit... Port road sprints here I come!

removed more wires, and found out i've removed more than i needed too for getting the cage so started reinstalling some things the cage will go around

Put the RFRB grill on, cable ties FTW!, will look into something better soon, cant use the original clips as its a rounded hole rather than square, so need some sort of expanding screw i imagine, looks pretty churr though im happy, grill just needs a touch up on the paint in 1 or 2 areas & the Subaru star badge removed and perhaps just touch up the mesh with a spray can while im at it i guess

Hi stop light needs to be secure (Will get one from repco)

Intercooler is loose (Needs 1 bolt to secure it)

Body Moulding Modified (even though this is on the cert, he failed it and I need to check it with LVVC)

Installed AVO turbo intake. SOOOOOO frustrating. Nice piece of kit though, turns out my factory one was fcked too so good to know it's fixed now. Also fixed a vaccuum leak while I was there due to a fitting not being on quite right. Makes spool and factory BOV sound pretty cool, and I think it's spooling maybe 150-200rpm earlier, at a rough guess.

if you got a resonator you prolly dont got OBDII

One thread he mentions he has a V7, so should be OBD2, another he mentions a 97-98 fos, so SSM1. Damn it where's the intro thread lol

Yesterday - Washed Car

Today - Cleant interior and vacuumed.

- Added water to the window wiper bottle.

Pulled the door cards off to check my speakers, who-ever installed them was a bit of a cabbage as the wires were starting to come loose from those lego style things that you screw wires into. And the front speakers weren't tight on the mounts.

The rear speakers are the factory ones and have gone nice and hard lol. Also there was grease or some crap built up in the terminals on the back

Bought a set of 16" rims for the mud & snow tyres on them , only paid $140

Got them home and turns out they clear my 4 pots. ;D

Fitted 4 new door speakers and checked oil after driving to Hokitika and back, Doesn't burn any oil at all
