Not sure if the seals have failed or not, just interested to find a source for them, so I can rebuild them myself when the time comes.

They probably need it, as they've done 240k... which probably means the bushings are shot.

And I was planning on messing with the damping in the track hacks shocks, when its going.

Also I like playing with things, like changing the damping and stuffs, can't be that different from my mountain bikes or dirt bikes dampers!:P

There's only so many ways to control oil flowing through ports.

The piston arrangement in mine was identical to a decent motorbike damper. Just a directional-flow-ported piston with a shim stack on each side.

They are remarkably simple internally, a lot of mechanics I talk to (and people on here, probably by flow-down effect) treat them like they're some sort of incredibly complex black art and having had one completely disassembled in front of me I can't really understand it.

Good to know they're simpler than most MTB dampers these days!

Means they might be easy to royally fubar up the damping, but easy to un-fubar as well, which is the fun part.

Got her a wof, was advised to get new tyres, camber wear down to second rubber layer on the inside- whoops, forgot to rotate tyres :')

THey've still got 2mm on the fronts, so that'll be xmas pressie for her after cambelt. That or it's a bloody good excuse for new wheels...

Wait whaaaaat your car moves now?

This is excite

Yeah, all sorted and fully road legal.

Drove it again today. I must say that feels weird to be able to just go downstairs, jump into it and drive it wherever I want. Doesn't seem right, haha.

Also came home and wrote up a page long list of things to do. First is replace the sunvisor that broke off in my hand the other day. Stupid old plastic!

Just impossible to get hold of. Still need a tweak for my one but haven't heard back from him yet.

You have a flex fuel sensor or have to fill completely up each time. Think he was talking about some ecu's actually being able to work out the percentage just from the AFR's or something these days but can't remember if he was talking about subaru's or something else.

Yep +1 for that. Not entirely happy how this tuning saga is unfolding. Sounds like he's looking well after a few of his favorite "promoters" but not that much after his customers.

At this stage I would NOT recommended his services, no matter how awesome he is.

PS: yes we know how busy he is, but then why would you take so many new customers on board if you cannot look after your existing clientele?..

No sensor required on most BL/BP legacies. The ECU had enough space and sensors to work out what is in the tank.

Sorry to hear that he's been slack on communications. I try to push him a bit to get back to people. But at the end of the day it's up to him to actually reply.

I'll give him a nudge and see if you get some action.

That was why I said to load the new tune in :) The rocker cover breather vacuum hose leak you had was of course an issue and diagnosing issues is 90% of my follow up work in majority of cases etc. Other than defining the rest of the software for your ECU but the safety factory compared to the rattley factory tune which was on your car that was pulling 15 degrees out... now it does not pull timing at all(just needs the final .7 degrees added in now IAM can be set)

You should of had email already :) No Tactrix means my wife/secretary interprets that as can wait 3 or 4 days. I pumped out 411 emails in the last week :)

1Mb ECU's have flex fuel available in them no issues. Unsure of your ECU just yet since it needed so much extra for a full definition since the listed definition is wrong etc :) That said, your injectors would be out of flow

If it is urgent... put STAR in the email address. Usually 24 hrs min turn around

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
