lol for me its a thing of the past, we were calling them coilovers about 10 years ago, same as a blow of valve we called a dump valve...free flow exhaust, banana branches (old fords)......then again im not from these here parts

have heard the bov as dump valve, never heard of a banana branches though ahahaha, very interesting.

have only ever heard coil packs as coil packs or coil on plug, never as coil over. coil over has always been suspension and has taken over for adjustable suspension.

yep I mean coil overs= adjustables. The other day i told a guy that I had coilovers and he laughed. Banana branches refers to the exhaust headers....lol dont ask

Show us a good example then cause using a word that is already in common use and trying to make it the norm for a completely different part of the car is just not smart. Or efficient.

Prove me wrong that just calling them "coils" is a worse example than called them "suspension"

So "coils" being shorter is what we are all going to use in reference to coil on plug ignitions now. Cool. Done.

when i was a diesel mechanic a hwile back i was allways rebuildings 1KZ-TEs with new heads LOL....

theyre good at cracking aye...
