Went to highbrook and collected Firenzas sti with him, then drove home in the mighty wingroad with the old engine in the boot.

On a side note:Lifting a engine alone isn't a fun task, yes i should have waited for pete to arrive to give me a hand, but i was late for work already.

he was went i crawled back into the mechanics place where his car is. tis a joke in good humour over an event your weren't privy too.

Pulling the box this weekend to work out whats happening, Dont think to much is broken, less the release bearing has extricated itself from the pressure plate somehow. Is some how all related to why my clutch pedal was sticking to the floor but had 'drive'

ripped old hand-brake out

finished intake

fitted polished clutch fluid guard

cleaned up all the wires inside car

fitted last of the few plastics back in

few more things to go, then its wof time!

Removed seats, center console, trimming, boot lining and carpet ........ made it true RA hahaha

Gave her a good clean out and customized the parcel shelf to fit the 6x9s (god its good to have a parcel shelf again, reflexion was messes up my ability to see behind me)

Put it mostly back together today, just have boot to finish

I feel achieved :-X

threw a carbon fibre strut brace in today ;D

after selling off my old alloy strut bar and getn this sti one i realised how light they are when you compare them....

carbon fibre one was half the weight of my old alloy one

Does it not occur to any one that a lighter strut brace would have more flex ? And to any one with a carbon sti brace . Find the join where the carbon is and peel it back . . . . OH its thin as alloy under there ! Huh ! And the point of the strut brace is to be rigid yeah ? Those sti ones u can flex them with your hands ! Ha ha bro theres allot more effective weight lightning to be done then a lighter more flimsy strut brace . . . U all ways gotta argue with me be GMEAGO

pull the carpet back out of the passenger foot well.. a big silver kick plate will present itself. Remove that plate and you find the brains. Its easy enough.
