What have you done to your car today?

out at the garage this morning seeing the progress on the car.

Up pipe is all finished and 50mm wastegate has been mounted shoehorned in (makes the turbo look small!)- now the exhaust side of things will get fabricated!

Also the 4" inake pipe arrived with the HKS Mushroom Filter to keep with the green theme, also ordered all black silicon joiners so it all works in!

failed my first wof with new(to me) Sti >:(:

chip on windscreeen (yeah i knew that would fail ;))

rear pads below min

rear tyres (sidewalls) damaged from scraping

rear tyres scraping, even though its certed for the height and it hasn't scraped once since I have owned it...only the front. its obvious that the tyres were damaged maybe by previous owner over loading when moving house or something. Still he wants me to raise the rear.

this is all after having the car inspected by Armstrong Subaru a month ago.

baaaahhhhh ::)

Im sure he cant make you raise the car because of a wof check... its up to the cert guy to decide if its good enough to get a cert or not...

A wof guy cant "make" you do anything. But he can not give you a wof if yours cars unsafe, what you do about it is up to you.

Watched someone else wash mine today. Which is only fair given I helped wash a good 15 other cars :D

I'd loooove to wash my car. Make it look sexy. But the rain will do for now.

On the plus side, our earnings are going directly to you lot down there :P

Well, when I drag my wrx up there I'll definitely won't be saying no to having ur help with cleaning it. Usually takes me two days to get through it, and all my mates won't help as they hate my attention to detail... I hate swirl marks haha and most of them aren't car nuts lol

> Test fitted WRXONP's intake pipe - albeit requiring a silicon reducer, which I'll still waiting for - so swapped back to factory rubbery intake..

> Swapped out old (50km's) Trust Air-NX mushroom filter for a used, but cleane cone shaped Blitz one (still debating buying an Apexi)

> Ran ducting from under the RH indicator through the inner guard to poke out just inside the engine bay

> Swapped out 1S ECU (http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,19730.0/topicseen.html) for a 6S

> Removed headunit and re-connected 3.5mm & USB cables (also tied a loop and cable tied them to the back of the headunit so they won't be yanked out again)

> Test drove

Continued relaxing in the sun with a beer in hand..

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
