fitted new fmic and uped the piping to 3inch with a new 50mm bov.. got out the angle grinder and shaved the bumper back sum more to get the cooler to fit behind it with out having a whooping great hole in th middle o the bumper (im a big fan of the factory stealth look) which was a mission on its own as the coolers 600x300x110..

as for you WRXONP....you must be on crack if you think that FHI's aerospace division cant make a lighter and better strut bar than them cheap chineese ones out there......SNAP! :D :D :D :D :D

Yes I can do that at some stage, thu or fri if I remember. I have smokn4's old alloy brace and my carbonfibre brace. Need to remove cf brace from sti and weigh it. 15 min job, but getting a round to it may take longer :)

STI carbon fibre: 1.500kg

Other nice pink and alloy: 2.245kg

Weight difference: 0.995kg on a 1300kg car = SFA

Not today, but have just sorted out getting pictures :-\ ... couple of weekends ago put in some Tein springs and a Kakimoto axle-back muff. Got the parts cheap, put em in myself, stoked with the result!

turned the key for the 1st time tonight after the shortblock replacement............ had to jump the battery as turning it over without the fuel on to get some oil pressure 1st before i tried to start killed it!!

right the mrs car hooked up via jumper cables...............

**hangs head in shame because the mrs "mitsi" cedia turbo is running**

no go sonny!!! dam..... where to next??????

garrett gt3082r.. little bit lagy but does the job once its got boost.. can always fick the anti lag lol.. the bigger pipes on the hot side actually helped get rid of sum and brings the turbo in harder.. gonna do the cold side tomorrow and wire in the in-tank 044 then shoud be ready for the dyno again.. 4th times the charm!

gt3071r?? or 76? its got a 98 sti gear box and rear diff (4:44) and sum red line shock proof gear oil.. seams to be holding up ok so far was gonna go 6 speed but to much work u basicly gotta put all the running gear under it be cheaper just to get a v7 lol.. yea ill take sum pics of the dyno sheets one of thems got my old plate on it tho slitha.. tune wasnt finished when kent pulled it off the dyno tho cos the pump maxed out..

oh true true! yer i only have a 3071r, is putting out 278 atw currently and pulls like a porno star.. will do more it has some more boost wound into it. Definitely helps having the 6speed behind it though.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
