firenza is your car stiff ? ? What height do those sti springs sit it at ?

VERY!

With the extra bracing i've fitted, and the stiff sidewalls of my tyres, its quite different! :P I;m sure Ill get used to it tho....

The springs are -30mm going off the sti website.

Yeah I seem to have sorted out the un evennes with my red strut set up . So just looking into other springs to get my desired height :) yesterday I did my exhaust . Changed rear mufler and re fabricated the rear section of exhaust . . Today did a service . Changed a few bulbs around . Fitted new o2 sensor and plumbed boost controller up better . . . Just need to do my split rails . . Have all the stuff but no time

will weigh the sound deadening when I'm finished, I've still got the drivers side under seat and foot well to do.

The approach I'm taking is air chisel...... then more air chisel..... then some desolv-it. I'm not too fussed on removing every little piece at the moment, was just passing time

+1 to desolve it... it really gets the left over glue sh!t looking residue off good. Air chisel even!! dam all i used was a decent sized flat head screwdriver and it did the job perfect for me..

update on weight of sound deadening when you have the figure

We used liquid Nitrogen. worked a charm. did everything behind the front seats in 3 minutes flat with just a small hammer.

where did you end up getting that from?

his uni, saw it on his new car thread

I think we are going to try removing the sound deadening with liquid nitrogen instead of dry ice as we can get it for free from uni. Hopefully it won't damage anything. Should be fun ;)

Swapped out HKS adjustable suspension and replaced with as new stock shocks that came in to the country in the boot of an import with adjusties on it.Fitted with super low king springs and it sits just right.Ride is much more comfortable as you would expect but have lost the gokart stiff feel.

Got new WOF and 12 months rego..steering rack boot and exhaust crack welded.

So gave it a good clean and vacuumed out the inside for the first time in a year!

All good and looks and drives like a new car, makes me very happy. ;D :-*

Lol thanks. I dont think you get much better then a RAYS forged rim with STI stamped into the spokes in and SUBARU TECNICA INTERNATIONAL in the casting around the inner lip with a nice matching carbon center cap :o well in the subby world anyway ;)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
