What have you done to your car today?

fitted the bumper back on the BG after MM, plus finally fitted inner guard skin! yay!

picked up the paddock car, got her running, won't idle, but i think that may be the 3 year old petrol...

dropped it back to my mates place, will start prepping it for our event coming up late october, need to set up 2x kill switches, rebuild the starting circuit, clean up the harnesses, possibly new seats???

will need engine overhaul after this event, sounds like the big end bearings are about to flog out

bolted on my altenator and finished my catch can setup.

picked up engine from engine builders time to put it back in ;D

Fitted new clutch, fitted box, fitted new STi top mount. It lives once again

Today I helped ( well mainly watched ) SAS strip my engine apart.

Found very loose cambelt , valve marks on pistons , rod bearing welded to #1 rod and this ...

made two predicitions of faults with my two cars that both have proven to be correct. failed alternator on the rex and two faulty o2 sensors on the clubby

i started then remembered that i didn't buy ties or clamps, ooops. But will do first thing tomorrow morning

Finally sorted out my tune,v7 sti, Scooby clinic SC38 18g billit,3 inch TBE, Process west intake,GFB g force EBC,walbro pump, STM reflash. Made 198@16psi, 222kws @21psi. Can make more but need injectors and FMIC

fitted cambelt and camcovers just need engine mount and then can put everything back in the RS yay

Thats pretty good there mate cant wait to see more results. I thought you would be able to push more with the standard injectors though.. Am currently looking at turbo upgrades and this is one on the list

Probly could of made a little more but dont want to push it too hard Plus the boost controll was starting to allow a little spike so had to limit boost to accomidate that

is that detonation?, im not sure what or where those pok marks are from

edit: i think i know what it is!, engine flakes in your sump! and enough to make glitter for a school yard

I have found the same i cant seem to hold boost well it just spikes.

Maybe chage the actuator or the spring in the diaphragm if your external?

neither i couldnt seem to tune it in to 14 psi kept spiking then dropping back to standard boost quickly. I have been told i may need to tune on a dyno.
