Before and After - Rota Grid 18x8.5 with Sunny 225/40R18 Tyres and rolled guards.

While it looks good, personally I\'d have spent less on the rims and more on the tyres.

It\'ll look much less cool when it understeers into a bank.

I do agree but the budget wouldn\'t allow for Falcons. Next step is a set of whiteline front and rear sway bars, a set of front and rear strut braces and nolathane bushes to improve the handling. Drove from Rotorua to Auckland last night on the Sunnys and had no problems - I don\'t drive very hard though so understeer hasn\'t shown itself as a serious issue to me yet. A nice set of BC Golds or D2 adjusties is also on my wishlist for improvements.

Spending money on tyres is a far better idea than monies spent on swaybar etc. Swaybar is so much good tho after tyres.

And swaybars will load up the tyres more and make then feel worse.

Oh... well there ya go then. Good to know. As much as I love my Legacy, I\'m currently in the midst of piecing my recording studio together which is following my career path so have to make some budget exceptions along the way. Still pleased to finally have the rims I\'ve been after for the last 8 months.

So after all that, I took it in to subtech and also petermark autos for them to have a listen, and they said its not a bearing. Rekon its just cam overlap or wear, so nothing major to worry about. So not sure how Winger diagnosed signs of big end wear when two other subaru specialists said they cant hear anything.

Don\'t ya hate that? Always makes you wonder if they\'re genuinely helpful or just trying to score the job...

If you mean winger then they ended up losing money since im now getting it serviced by subtech instead.

Unless subtech/petermark are just trying to get me to drive on a failing bearing so it blows up proper and makes me do a full rebuild with them :o /tinfoilhat

ild personally get a Set of BC golds and some good sway bars. Tyres will last you if your not planing on thrashing it around everywhere just will have a lot of road noise

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
