Gave it an Italian Tune-up after Alex at Highbrook replaced my faulty and code-barfing knock sensor...bedded in the new brakes good and proper. Dear god...I'm never going cheap again. The new stuff is proper quality gear and the confident bite vs the ol' buttery sensation is TREMENDOUS!

Finally installed rear sway bar, got balance and alignment, oil and filter change, upper engine cleaner, bought overalls in case clubsub doesn't have enough haha (that was a bloody mission and a half!)

Still need to wash the thing, vacuum the thing, finish removing the vinyl crap, finish removing leftover monsoon and vinyl adhesives, swap the scoop over, swap the matts out...So not going to be done in time for tomorrow! haha

Got cambelt redone after running on what I thought was three cylinders, was actually two. And then gave it some loving for not sounding like a Massey ferguson.

had my car recert'd, picked my wheels up from teh vegas (cheers raydeo ;D), washed them clean and booked them in for 4 nice new tires tommorrow

Replaced the front wipers, fitted a new rear washer pump, fitted a battery hold-down clamp and threw a bottle of trans flush in the auto. Oh, and fitted a reco'd air flow meter. She gets up and goes now!! ;D

Flushed the auto, fitted a new TX valve, cleaned the inside of the windows and washed it.

Oh and mattapo blew the turbo on his brothers car just north of Taihape

Fixed 4th gear. Pushed the gearstick really really hard up into 3rd. Now 4th engages properly again.

See. Nothing to panic about.

I reckon a couple of limiter launches should fix 1st gear too. The teeth get hot and weld themselves back on.
