For those of you that havnt seen it, theres this handy little tool from castrol

http://www.datateck.com.au/lube/castr_nz/default.asp

click on the link then select make and model of vechile from the drop down boxs and it will tell you recommended grades of oil for your vehicles engine/gearbox/diffs/power steer and the volume of oil required for each

neat, cheers for pointing that out. bloody hell, 6.3 L of oil for the truck... ah well.

according to that my 1992 terrano/pathfinder (vg30 3.0l petrol v6) only requires 3.4 litres of engine oil :-\

Thats not far wrong I used to put 3.6L in my my terrano with the VG30 and it would always be slightly over full

decided to wash the foz of all the grime from my roady last week...now shes looking shiny and clean..and im too tired to do fuck all else :D

someone probably should have clicked given that they fire 1-3-4-2. not 1-2-3-4 haha 1 and 3 cant be wired together

Pushed the rex out of garage. Put the factory springs in the leggy. Bled the water system trying to find coolant smell when heater goes on hot.

Pushed the rex back in and topped up the oil and water.

Took motor off kart, cleaned. Checked end float and bearing movement...minnnttttt. New ring next week. Kart for sale.

We did lol but diagrams say 1 & 2 together etc. Wasn't keen on going threw all the different possibility's haha. just so happen the last one i tryed worked

Ended up wiring them 1&4 and 2&3 i think?

In the weekend did timing belt n waterpump change and all the fun things that go with it.

While we were there installed my apexi intake and podfilter, pics up in my build thread in a min

gave the girl new rear tires to smoke up!!

then took her from hamilton to napier and back

need nolethane in the rear now

Bought some new wheels with Bridgestone Potenza re-01r tyres

Then cleaned the fook outta it, then fixed the Drivers window as its goes *clunk* and drops a bit on the way down.

Turned put the mechanism was loose and had turned the holes thought which its mounted into slots. Couple of washers later and some tightening and job done.

New front pads. new rears soon to go in too.
