yeah was a good price too, $100 they had to weld in a couple of extensions and that but yeah really good

Took front lower engine cover/diffuser off and tightened up Rocker Cover Gaskets as they leak under boost/high pressure, removed the foam thing off the cover as it was soaking in oil, to a point it would just slap on the ground, cleaned exhaust covers under the cast iron parts on the under chassis, as these caused blue smoke when the oil dripped onto them, (Don't know what their called they protect the exhaust right up by the engine)

Dropped it off for some tlc in palmy.. Update to come in about a month

Put standard springs back in the wagon, spanner checked the underside of it after getting hammered by ice after the snow storm last week, fixed the hole in the dashboard with a Din Pocket, replaced the missing roll pins in the front CV's, washed it, helped my mate replace his injector O-rings and did a little bit more fabrication on my baffled sump project. Satisfying day all up!

Cable tied a bunch of boost lines in place. Pesky little buggers kept popping off last night when boost would creep up a bit.

Went out and did about 2hrs of road tuning

got the lil Garrett to 1.8bar before intake charge temp starts to climb more rapidly

So 1.75bar ( 25.4psi) is the setting in the HKS controller

Will do some more tuning over the next week or so before dyno time, just to get a figure to go on the top20 board

Spent some time tacking slip joints on the car then removed the slip joint holders and tigd up the joins completely. Re positioned the o2 sensor port and did some heat wraping (up pipe too). Yet to see if the wrap made any dif to power : but sure will keep some heat away from my oil filter and sump ;D.

Also did a quick turbo somparison shot of bolt on Apexi AX53B70 vs VF34

stuffed the restricter pill back into my turbo hose lines, reset ebc, testing and boost level set in the next couple of days.

boost wasnt going above spring pressure at 95% duty cycle on controller, and yes i do have all the hoses in the right place, and the solenoid set up right. just didn't like effectively having the controller set stupidly close to freeboost levels.

Yup. Normal driving is fine, even boosting for a little bit, but driving it hard / uphill will cause blueish smoke to pour out of the engine bay through the front grill. Smells of oil too, it could be whats left of any oil in the engine bay, but I have no idea, so off to crowe sports it goes. Cheers to Autosure warranty!

you may have a solenoid that doesnt actually work lol had this before.. could only do stock boost

you shouldnt need restrictor with ebc

Bought myself a version 1 STi ECU for my BF5 GT. Now I'll be able to increase to boost a couple more PSI and hopefully get a couple more easy KWs.

not my car but fixed the work van today . re packed front Wheel bearings . new seals . replaced brake pads and skimmed rotors . . . done the rotors my self at work and it stopped that crazy ass shudder lol . . was sketchy at the bottom of Bombays with a heavy load lol

Not sure but from what I've found they run a stock pressure of 15PSI and my Legacy cuts out at 14-15PSI at the moment.
