Fixed some random vacuum operated thingymajingy on the wee Pug and now it has low down torque to go with the million revs it loves to pull. Fun times. Coming to the realisation that I should have bought a 205 GTi back in the day instead of my RS :P

Was on that bandwagon when I was young good times

Well, A friend and I in the weekend removed the entire dash assembly, cross brace and dropped the steering. Removed the Heater core and went to pick-a-part to replace it. Removing the stuff from my car took a solid hour, the one at pick a part probably 30minutes.

Have put in the new heater core, and reassembled as it was getting dark and I needed to drive home. Left a few things unplugged so we'll pull it apart this saturday and tidy it all up.

Also grabbed a mint bumper and fog lights from an Outback while at pick-a-part, going to respray and put on the Legacy TS-R as I hate my fogs.

At least that's the plan :)

$30 a can and can says minimum 300g of paint, more expensive than the premade stuff at repco/supercheap but the sprinter is an odd toyota dark bluey grey. and less hassle than sourcing a compressor and sorting thinners out

Failed a warrant, my mistake for going to VTNZ lol.

Car has also developed a very nasty backfire and massive Hesitation under acceleration. I am hoping its just old fuel as that fuel has been in it for a couple months now. However I think I might be looking at plugs, leads or coils as I am fairly certain it was ilding on 3 for a little while when I let it warm up today.

Not a good day...

I wanted a warrant today and didnt think my normal workshop was open. The guy actually put the microphone of the noise tester in the exhaust lol. 110DB at idle in the exhaust ha ha. I am aware thats incorrect so I will go see my mechanic this week instead.

I was also failed on the brake pedal missing a brake rubber. A little anal but its the rule I guess.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
