Gave it a birthday, oil filter and a wash.

Might vacuum it later on too, hate selling cars always have to keep them clean

once you drain them you need to fill them again so its like a bank over draft only good the first time you use it.

If you draw a basic circuit diagram of a car audio system (use a lightbulb for the amp if you want) you\'ll see why a cap doesn\'t do very much at all.

It\'s not like a magic bottle of electricity that empties and refills independently of everything else... the entire system will always be at the same voltage, think of it like 3 tanks of water with pipes connecting all of them at the bottom, they will always be at the same level, if you remove water from one the level of the other 2 will fall. Except if you look at the amount of energy a 1F cap stores compared to a car battery it\'s more like having a cup of water connected to a swimming pool.

Why would you need anything more than the standard electrical setup you car already has? I mean how much juice does your 1 amp and 1 sub need, unless your competing at sound off\'s etc. Seems like overkill and alot of extra weight.

I\'m at the same place with mine, already pulled out around 20 kg of wiring from my loom, there\'s a lot of crap in there you don\'t need for a race car.

Has taken months though to do, due to mates rates.

removed sump from a bus and found this

ended up not being as bad as it looks round thing from timing cover and other bits are quick metal flakes from a failed repair.
