Picked my car up today. Waterpump was farked so that was replaced, and some of the other rattles and knocks turned out to be some lose bolts. Gear lever bushings also replaced so about $600 later and the car is finally running mint and a lot quieter too, haha

Picked up flywheel.

San recommended I take it to greg @ MP Autos in Upper Hutt, and they've really done an excellent job. Paid $57 including a new bearing and it's a very nice job :). Fully recommended

New set of tyres for the BF5 GT S2.

I had a set of Toyo T1R which I barely got 30,000km out of. Otherwise excellent wet or dry, but new tyres every eight months leaves me unexcited. This time I had a set of Toyo Proxes 4 fitted instead, with the hope that they will last a bit longer.

Went into work and finally fixed my leaky rear diff. Its been weeping for over 2 years, but in the last month its started dropping oil on the drive. I found the drain plug was rounded out and seized. Awesome. Luckily we had a blown diff sitting at work, so I robbed the rear cover off that.

y'all sound busy. I have a couple things to do to mine sometime soon, but meanwhile I've been doing something better:

Today, I drove my car. :D

Friday: ran around like a headless chook trying to find a chipstik (turtlewax lipstick made out of wax). ..........found a can of 86F instead 8) Sat there with the lid with a squirt of Blue Steel in it, and painstakingly blotted in EVERY. DAMN. STONE CHIP. Then cut, polished and waxed the rear of the car.

Saturday: offered moral support after tearing the interior out of Chrisjunkie's car. Got distracted, attacked the well-set blots of 86F with sandpaper. Rubbed off all the excess, then cut, polished and waxed the front of the car. My god, it looks like a Subaru again!

Then proceeded to make $160 cash with more on its way, being the bridal car at a lovely wedding way south. Baby had a big blue ribbon up his nose! ;D

Sunday: Stuck bugs and more stone chips all over my beautiful, tenderly waxed grey thing. >:(

busy day yesterday afternoon.. think i have finally stopped removing parts now, and ready to start putting new ones in..

The k-frame was pulled out, drive shaft off, unhooked all the gear linkage, front pipe (exhaust) removed, and the gear oil dropped..

Then my flat mate kindly helped me drop the gearbox out..

Have to order new powersteering line seals and drop the sump out to replace as well..

Still waiting on my damm rear rotors, phone call to viv today bout my CV's and off to find the replacement 6mt as well.. fun times.. do start to feel like im making progress though

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
