Im pretty sure ive got them will check when home. Only difference between early and late is the auto tensioner.

Thanks Ross The problem I'm having is bringing the hose out through to the top of the dash. Should I use that vent by the windscreen or what? Got everything set up, just don't know where to feed the vac hose down through to firewall grommet

There's a 5-6mm gap running here that's perfect and saves any cutting or drilling. Use a few thin strips of double sided tape in the gap if the hose wont stay in there:

Sweet. Another option is to remove the pillar panel and try to get the hose down beside the dash, but it's pretty awkward. Also probably need to cut/file a notch in the base of the panel to not pinch the hose when it clips back on:

Radiator caps, I think I've asked before, but can't find the answer. But.. What do I need? 1.1, 1.3, 1.9? Iv'e read the header tank, and rad have different pressure caps? 1.3 rad and 1.1 for header? is this right for a ej207 & aftermarket aluminium radiator?

Subaru parts list two types - Coolant recovery cap & System coolant cap?

It's an open system with common pressure everywhere so they should all match. I think standard is 1.1 bar.

If you have a 1.1 bar on the header tank and a 1.3 on the rad you may as well weld the rad shut because the header tank will open instead.

My factory caps are different. 113kpa at header vs 137kpa at radiator

15us is pretty decent for iridiums, was a bit over 20nz each for mine from bnt

If I can get them for "a bit over 20nz" each that won't be bad at all, Partsouq shipped is about NZ$135. Will check with my local BNT on Tuesday.

i bought a vf22 the other day and the exhaust housing studs have bee grinded off theres about 10-15mm left on all 3 where abouts would i go to get these removed and replaced?

Long nose pliers, turbo housing studs, heat it up with blow torch undo with vice grips

I think you can get them at Repco?

Or try a fasteners shop like EDL or Blackwoods etc. But you need to know both thread pitches and lengths.

To install them, put two nuts onto them that you tighten against each other, then use them as the head to screw in as you would with a bolt. They don't need to be overly tight either.
