Yeah slowly. Was about to order some parts then Tony decided to go on holiday away from Quakechurch so I thought I'd get some machineshop work done while he was away.

Was about to PM you and ask about him :) Glad to hear he's just on holiday lol. Got some work he might like to do.

I think he's back next week? Scott should be holding the fort for him while he's away.

Put new Narva Arctic Blue bulbs in today. Will wait for tonight to see how nice they look. Good excuse to waste some petrol :P

Eww, I found those things about as helpful as pouring Dettol in your eyes then driving. The false blue light made it impossible to see on a dark, tree lined country road. Round town is the only place I'd use them as the street lights will at least let you see stuff.

Guess going down lower styx road will be the best test :)

I had them in once when running in a car at night across the port hills (so was just driving, no thrashing whatsoever) and they actually scared me. May be due to old reflectors/lenses etc in the RS (as the normal lights are by no means the greatest either) but it definitely put me off the false blue ones.

Definitely not good! Hopefully they're better suited for my crystals then.

car couldn't handle 23psi boost. Changed Alternator belt. it was all torn up !

An Alternator belt is a lot better than a pooped engine.

scored a set of cheep platinum plugs and installed.

oxygen sensor bung tapped and plugged up with an old spark plug :)

new sensor drilled and installed in down pipe rather than headers.

re checked for fuel rail leakages (none whoop whoop)

done compression test while plugs were out ( 10 bar on all cylinders very nice)

new vac hoses through car

got pod filter to finally fit with the m&h intake pipe

and intercooler = FAIL!

productive day even tho i worked a 9 hour day :)

23psi on a V7 is pointless unless you have a whole bunch of supporting mods. Dyno has proved time after time that they don't make bugger all power beyond ~19psi, the turbo just turns into a hot-air blower, becomes very inefficient. Maybe if you had a front mount, good intake setup and a flowy exhaust...

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
