Also tonight I went round and checked out an engine/box package for the laurel, think it\'s very likely it\'ll get the go ahead, I close to literally just need a clutch pedal and some ht leads

It\'s not my first choice but I think it\'ll more than achieve my goals with the car

Todays thing was when removing the wanky defis the altezza came with i found it has a piggyback ecu (like an e-manage) wired in, was unplugged... plugged it in cause YOLO and it now has suuupaaah poowwaaaah mad vtaks. Prob gains like at least 5hp, maybe 10, and will now smoke anything on the road come at me bro

Now to find what diff is in it, cause 3500 in 6th at 100kph is a little bit excessive.... its like fiiirst seeeecond seeeecondandahaaaaalf... thiiiird... third and a half... aaand top gear is like what 4th should be

Had it scanned, no codes in the system at all and all sensors are working as they should. Had a new air filter put in, new long life plugs and an upper engine clean.

Definitely feels a bit smoother and seems to idle a bit better too. I guess time will tell. Apparently rocker cover gaskets are leaking very very slightly so will need done in the future. That can wait til after Xmas.

Whats a good price to have my head gaskets replaced? Got quotes ranging from $1100 to $2200. Cheaper isn\'t too bad as most of the seals are all good, and waterpump/everything is fine. Is there anyone on here that would do it/be happy to help me do it? More than happy to pay of course

Ah, that one. Earth kit lead, I had to go and clean it since the pic

Got half way through lowering the front, found I left the rattle gun at work again (as per usual) lol

2 Quick coats of satin black engine enamel, I\'ll do it properly and might go gloss black next time it comes off. Re-routed some vac lines and cleaned a bit more.
