Very happy today!!Got my HX40 back from Fred,. Rebuilt and ready for action. Should be interesting to see how it spools with the .63 housing.

Cost me around 1500 all up to get to this stage.

400 for turbo

80 for new hx40pro comp wheel

300 for machining of chra and cover to suite pro comp wheel(crank engineering)

600 for new oem turbine and hsg

70 for rebuild kit

100 to get it built and balanced(one stop Tshop)

Although its quite costly so far, i like the fact that it can be rebuilt at less than $200

Single..Yep Freds one of those genuine good blokes!! I have the original housing its 16cm2 twin entry.. the .63 will be around 9cm2? so should see full boost at 4k??

with twin scroll 16cm you would see it before that but with single yes i would predict 4k

I know your all for the twin scroll : I would be very surprised if the larger 16cm2 twin scroll housing could out spool the smaller 9cm single entry housing which is the reason why i bought it.

Plugged in the dash, and the drivers seat- and I bolted it to the floor- I also put a battery into it and listened to loaded lim chung- My subaru(whatever) need/want new back speakers. awesome thing is- no CEL : then again- I never turned on the engine... not to mention the lack of an engine it has right now lol.
