The look on the cops face when he sticks his hand up your guard and runs it along your tire to check the tread is pretty priceless.

Quoted for truth rofl

When I was doing tyres I was still using my Skyline as a daily which meant thrash tyres every week it was bothering heaven. Then back to steel hanging out when I left -_-

Also meant I had free time every day when we didn\'t have customers so I always without fail pulled my rims off, polished the shit out of them (doing it daily means its easy) and blacked the fuck out of the tyres.

Every day cruising along Maunganui rd in the 5pm traffic in this rangi as fuck 2 dr r33 with the tidiest rims and wet as tyres used to get me the most fucked up looks : D

As for the sidewall its more than repairable, some shops just don\'t like doing them that close in case you go back and get antsy about it if it fails (especially when a lot of places do free puncture repairs).

I always used to do them that close but with the warning they may not last long. Doing it for free and warning them usually means they return to buy tyres because your service is good.

Yeah, I\'m in the "pool" of approved applicants now so waiting to be called up (like, passed all the testing / ride alongs / fitness blah) . Unfortunately not much call for mid 20\'s white guys who can\'t speak anything but english, so I\'m just getting comfy waiting, ha. Past the "will they hire me" point now at least, now it\'s the "hurry up and wait" stage. One day.

Took upside down sway bar off and fitted correctly, replaced split pins, checked all suspension bolts/nuts in rear, removed turbo and up pipe to fix v clamp, removed intake mani to repaint, swore at various tools that alwaysseemed to be out of reach when you need them most >:(

Time to thaw out the wrx from being on ice for two years, located a good engine/turbo/fuel/ecu setup from existing member. Now just got to wire over the money, wait for Tony at RDL performance to get back from racing season and get the new setup put in.

All happening whilst Im in Auckland and my car is in chch, when I get the car finished I will have to fly down and do one last meet before shipping the car up to Auckland.

2 years of no psssshh....I need it back lol

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
