What have you done to your car today?

Oh this wasn't like that. It was pretty much only in first gear (only had it happen a couple of times in second and never in third or above). Happened when I started to take off - between about 1000 and 1500 revs, but it varied. Very weird feeling.

Punched the load pedal over taking a truck on the motor way this morning in the rain and got all twisted up (damn auto chopped down to many gears) just managed to keep it off the barrier with full turns right then left on the steering wheel........what a dick! (me that is) very embarrasing!

Thats what a dirty old holden does to you, plays nicely then when you least expect it, trys to put you six feet under. My xr6 ute was similar, except was more predictable. Coming up to a corner you would think it was going to be a bit hairy, going through the corner you thought, bugger, this is hairy, coming out the other side thankful you were still alive you changed your y fronts. This would happen on corners marked 65 and doing 65, I s*** you not.

I remember coming back from a party in Akaroa one morning in the WRX a few years ago.

Sat on the tail of this guy in a HSV as he was obviously a local. He seemed to know the road like the back of his hand.

One corner he obviously got pissed at me sitting on his ass and hit the loud pedal. He did the massivest fishtail....full locks both ways.....all over the road! Luckily there was nothing coming..being about 7am!

I noticed a few weeks back the oil light wasn't working. No idea how long it hasn't been working!! Found it was a blown bulb this morning. Replaced the blown backlighting bulbs for the rear demister and fog lamp switches while I was there too.

Delivered the BC's old heads to Ryan, and collected the closed deck block he checked for me. Mega thanks for that bro! ;D

And my GOD, people can't drive on the open road. Witnessed someone just about kill themselves. Whether she was txting while driving, falling asleep at the wheel, or just generally failing at driving: one thing's for certain. She's lucky to be alive.

Failed to negotiate a 55 right-hander over a crest; hit a gravel trap; panicked, and swerved back toward the road; overshot the southbound lane she was previously in and hit the other side of the road; somehow managed to miss the ditch and oncoming traffic, before finally making it back onto her side of the road. Pulled over and had the hysterics, by which stage there was traffic behind me. I'd simply slapped the stop pedal the moment I saw her leave the road and thus simply witnessed the whole thing from a distance without getting tangled up in the mess.

This is why good drivers can't have nice things. Other people just can't drive. >:( I am very, very glad she's unhurt though! Close call was CLOSE.

WHY DID YOU LET HER DRIVE IT, ROB.

Haha the first one was her driving along a tyre wall on the staging area at slipway at FIVE K'S AN HOUR (damn wimmen)...the second one was 70km/h + cone.

Aside from that everyone seemed generally impressed by how well she did for her first ever outing...

You of all people shouldn't complain about me giving girls a go Shale ;D

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
