I did pop it back in place, and bolted it back on. But the bar was sitting on a very bad angle as a result, it jut pops right back out.

Changed oil and filters in the wagon today. First time since before megameet. Oil came out a bit darker than usual but it had done 16,000km and one track day!

I decided to skip my usual task of pre-filling the oil filter and fired her up. The sound of 24 oil starved lifters is quite disturbing. Shut it down straight away and cranked with the sensors unplugged to get pressure back up.

Wound the front struts down 2 turns and the rears down 3. The car sits a bit closer to where i want it now.

Was nice to see in the 16,000km since the last time i popped the covers off - there wasnt a single drop of oil out of place and i'd used absolutely no oil or water. The genuine air filter from Subaru also seems to have changed from the paper element ive previously seen to a cottony woolly fiber element. It was all white and fluffy....looking forward to seeing how it fares another 6 months down the road.

Changed the brake pads on a mates Honda today. was a bitch

Also started to fit my FMIC, got the core sorted...

gc8 kits are not meant for b4's, who woulda thought . Should be alright with some longer joiners tho

Put the engine in the hatchback. It fits Super stoked. Looks like theres going to be f*** all left to do once my clutch and carb are finished.

Drilled some speed holes in the floor (Battery relocation to be exact)

Sorted the back tail lights on my BH. They were collecting water as the seal had gone also found that i didn't have the middle back lights or brake lights as the bulbs were well not in a good state.

The lights held a remarkable amount of water!!

Anyways all sorted so the wagon is in good condition

Reset the ecu and took it for a run around Summit road. Before it had a bit of a misfire accelerating from idle, the reset seems to have sorted it out though.

i just chucked a lazy 2.4 engine in an rvr today. skinned my knuckles a couple times and got pissed off at teaching the dopey cunt who owns it everything and having to justify why i was doing everything... but his mrs did cook me a sweet lunch.
